The Eight Treasures

List of movements for students:

Eight Treasures Qi Gong is a complete exercise form that everyone should practice. It is a foundation upon which many more advanced movements can be built.

  1   Hold the sky with two hands to balance the triple burner (upper, middle and lower body).
Benefits the respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine and digestive systems.
  2   Open the bow shooting to the left and right.
Benefits the cerebral, spinal, immune and heart/lung systems.
  3   Raise each fist to regulate stomach and spleen
Benefits the digestive and elimination systems and metabolism.
  4   Look behind to release fatigue and stress.
Benefits the nervous system, tones the spinal chord and skeletal structure.

Wag the tail to release heart fire.
Benefits the cardiovascular, digestive and elimination systems.

  6   Sway the spine and bend willow tree to strengthen the back and kidneys.
Benefits reproductive, digestive, cerebral/spinal, tendon/muscular and nervous systems.
  7   Punch with powerful gaze.
Benefits abdominal viscera, digestion and elimination systems and strengthens vital force.
  8   Lift heels seven times to release sick qi.
Benefits cerebral/spinal system, abdominal viscera and immune system while emphasizing strengthening the kidney while stimulating the brain through vibration.
